Hi

Post by knorris4 on Sun Apr 12, 2009 3:18 am

I am wanting to go on the cruise but would have to go alone. Is there a way to share with someone from here on the blog. I have been low-carb for about 2 years following somewhat Atkins. When I was diagnosed with diabetes I thot well if blood sugars come from carbs then I just wont give my body carbs. so I eat about 20-25 a day. I live in North CentralNevada so would be coming a ways to go on the cruise. Karen

Hi Karen,

Well, this site is mostly just general information. You MIGHT stumble on a cabin mate here, but your best bet will be through some other more active forum boards.

I recommend:
http://www.livinlowcarbdiscussion.com/
OR
Join facebook and stay updated here:
http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=85354194342

IF I hear of anyone needing a cabin-mate I will try and get you connected.

HOPE you can join us!! It is more fantastic than words... friends, fun, and LOTS of low-carb experts to answer individual questions... just great.

Roommate?

Post by Skigirl on Fri May 29, 2009 11:32 pm

I'm looking for a roommate too... tell me about yourself. I'm a 37 year old female and an avid skiier in the winter. I'm a non-smoker. This will be my fourth cruise, but my first low carb one... meaning I'll be with like-minded people who eat the same way I do. In that sense I'm so excited! Guest speakers sound amazing too!

Best,
Laurie cheers

P.S. You can reach me at skigirlred@hotmail.com
