We can put 3 to a cabin (bunk beds) but you have to work out a bathroom schedule! hahaha

Well, you know, I don't really mind if you *don't* find someone! I mean 99% of the time I would rather have my own room than share with a total stranger. I just could not find any way to book a room and put down a deposit as a "single". The reservation form demanded two names!

Hello to everybody going on the 2010 Low Carb Cruise!

My name is Ramona Denton (rldenton), and I'll be joining you this year.

I have been Low Carbing for a few years now, but have recently recommitted myself after reading Gary Taubes book, Good Calories, Bad Calories. Those last few doubts that were lurking in the shadows of my heart were finally swept out for good! So, I'm in.

I have cruised with Carnival several times, and look forward to another fantastic vacation. With you as my companions, I have high expectations for the best cruise yet!

While you are working on the airfare, wardrobe, and babysitting, might I suggest that you post a picture of the beach in front of you to remind you of why you are hassling with the details! hahaha

I'm so excited to hear people coming out the woodwork to come on this new cruise in 2010. YIPPEE!

Hi Yall!!

Well just dropped by to say hello from the UK

It's getting a bit like De Ja Vu now. this will be our 3rd Cruise yes I was there at the beginning!! Chris and I feel like honorary Americans now. It's like one big happy family with some of us!!


Anyway enough waffling, I will be coming with my partner Chris if you look on the Facebook group you will see photos of us both from previous cruises. We will be very brave this year as we are bringing our kids! I have 2 boys Ben 16 and Luke 13(he'll be 14 by the cruise) and Chris has 2 daughters Steph 18 and Amber 14(she be 15 by the Cruise).

We are so looking forward to it we can't wait, the kids are getting excited too as they have never been to America before. We are now Toying with the idea of doing Disney the week before now and having the Cruise second so we can chill on the cruise before returning home. So we will hit the US before we get on the ship, we will have got used to the time difference by then too.

I too am so looking forward to making new friends each year we pick up more friends which is great! We always have such a great laugh with people and make fond memories in the process. We look forward to getting to know you all and catching up with other we know. Oh and I love the night before the cruise when we get together for a meal if you can as that is a good way to break the ice before getting on the ship.

Hi All! I'm Amy Dungan (otherwise known as Sparky's Girl for the last few years). My husband and I will be on the cruise this year and I can't wait! This will be our first cruise.

I'm a low-carb evangelist (LOL) and have been living this lifestyle since 2001. My husband is a low-carber as well. We have two awesome kid, but they will be staying with Grandma for this cruise while we enjoy some "us" time. Maybe next year they can come. I run the Healthy Low-Carb Living website and blog. I also write for examiner on the topic as St. Louis Low-Carb Examiner. I'm also a photographer, so expect to see me with a camera often. LOL

My hubby John is in sales for a local sign shop. He also does much of the design work, over sees installation... all that jazz. He's wickedly talented! (Can you tell I'm proud?? )

I guess that's it about us. Can't wait to meet everyone!
