Ok, so I have never been on a cruise of any sort before. We don't quite know what to expect, so I have a few questions for you cruise repeaters. What exactly do we have to pay for on board the ship? I would assume if we buy stuff in the shops or the photos that they take of us but other than that I am clueless! Do we pay for massages if we get them or anything like that? Is all the food inclusive no matter where we eat and at no matter for what meal of the day? I just want to make sure we ...

Please forgive me if this has been addressed elsewhere and I just didn't see it, but what is a Low Carb Cruise. I assumed it meant that they didn't serve high carb foods. I found out that isn't the case. Do we need to sign up through the links posted for the low carb cruise or can we just sign up with Carnival Cruise?

The city's major airport is Jacksonville International Airport (JIA). Located about 12 miles from the cruise terminal, JIA provides non-stop flights to major U.S. cities, including those that serve as international gateways. More than a dozen major airlines and a network of regional carriers provide some 200 daily arrivals and departures at JIA.
Where is the cruise terminal in Jacksonville?

In 2003, JAXPORT constructed a 63,000-square foot temporary cruise facility near the Northwest corner of its Dames Point site, bordered by Heckscher Drive and State Road 9-A in Northeast Jacksonville. The facility is open for service. The physical address of the temporary cruise terminal is:

Well, folks, I have good news and bad news. It was quite shocking for me at first and I have been working diligently to try and come up with a plan.

THE BAD NEWS -- I received a call from VTG that Carnival Cruise Line had "filled" the ship we were booked on for March 1st with a large group that basically booked the entrie ship ... they took all the rooms. There was nothing we could do about that...at all. And I tried.

By the time I take those last few steps and disappear into the ship's hull, I'm taller, blonder, richer, and thinner. Okay, not really, but I feel that way.
From VacationsToGo:

I believe it would be a good idea to post something about the difference between bookings into a group vs. lowest individual fare especially since Carnival is advertizing their “early saver” rates which are very attractive but they also come with strict requirements, such as:

1.) A full non-refundable/non-transferable per person deposit is required at time of booking. ($200 per person for a 5-night sailing)

2.) There is a $50 service fee per ...

Cruise Packing for Men

The first question women ask me is, "Will my husband need a tuxedo?" The answer to that lies in part with the gentleman himself.

While a tuxedo isn't 100% necessary, it's a refreshing change to see our significant others in their very best bib and tucker. My husband packs his own bags, or at least stages them for me. Who to Tip

The "who" part is easy. It's up to your discretion to tip anyone who provides a service you would like to recognize. This begins as early as your airport check-in. Porters carrying your bags in airports expect a tip. Depending on your city, $1.00 to $2.00 a bag will do. Same thing applies when you retrieve your suitcases at the baggage claim area at your destination; if you use the services of a porter or skycap, ...
