When you first get on the ship

Post by Regandy on Fri Jan 11, 2008 6:50 am

... don't worry about your luggage. It will be waiting for you after the muster.

Muster -- look in the closet in your stateroom, grab the life jackets, and go to the designated "muster" station. It's kind of like the "stewardess" speech on an airplane. They will tell you what to do in case of emergency, etc.

After muster it will be time to get ready for dinner.

USUALLY sometime BEFORE dinner, your luggage will be delivered to your room. You will have time to freshen up a little bit and get ready for dinner. Take your "cruise card" to dinner with you and they will show you where are group will be seated. This will be your dinner seating for the entire trip.

IF ANYBODY ELSE WANTS TO ADD SOMETHING... PLEASE DO!!

So when do we find out where we are sitting? Aren't we sitting like 8 to a talbe or something? How do we find out what table that is and who is at our table? I didn't see anything like that on our confirmation packet we got.

When you check in you will be given a little credit card type thing... this is your "Sign and Sail" card. It is your ID and your credit card while on and OFF the ship.

When we go to dinner they will show us where we are to be seated. There are tables that seat around 10 people. We should all be seated in the same approximate area ... 4 or 5 tables. This information will also appear printed out on your Sign and Sail card.

I am so excited about all of sitting near each other for dinner. SOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! Can't wait to try their yummy appetizers. I love their cold soups. I hope they offer esgargot. Love it! And they "present" all the food so pretty - it's almost a crime to eat it.
