Valuables, security, & money

In your stateroom closet there is a mini-safe. You will program your own private security code into it (easy w/ instructions). It is about the size of a large shoebox so you can keep your jewelry and money in there.

You don't need money on the ship. You use your "Sail & Sign" card for everything. It is your boarding pass when you go on and off the ship. There are 2 ways it is covered... either secured by a credit card OR by a $200 deposit. They automatically use the credit card that you signed up with ... OR you just go down to the information desk and make the arrangements for cash. You can check your balance any time you like... no surprises.

A VERY USEFUL ITEM was a small travel pack/wallet that I bought in the "travel" section of Walmart. It can hold your passport & your "Sail & Sign" card and money for when you go onshore. It is flat with a shoulder strap. These are good to wear under your clothes... your valuables are hidden and strapped to you so no chance of being snatched. NOT that this would happen but it is just good to be safe when you go on shore.
