IMPORTANT CHANGE IN 2010 CRUISE - NEW DATES

Well, folks, I have good news and bad news. It was quite shocking for me at first and I have been working diligently to try and come up with a plan.

THE BAD NEWS -- I received a call from VTG that Carnival Cruise Line had "filled" the ship we were booked on for March 1st with a large group that basically booked the entrie ship ... they took all the rooms. There was nothing we could do about that...at all. And I tried.

So we had a choice to make -- Same date, different port OR different date, same port. In order to keep the exact same ticket price and after discussing it with those who are helping us arrange this, we had to make a change. I looked into other cruise lines and other ports... etc. and came to the conclusion that this is the best way to go.

THE GOOD NEWS -- We decided to keep the same port -- Jacksonville Florida .... but we had to change the date to March 6th. It is still a 5 day cruise *but it goes to Half Moon Cay Bay and NOT Key West*. The "concession" that Carnival DID make was that we get to keep the same rate. March 6th was originally a little bit more expensive BUT for our group there will be no change in our current ticket price -- no price change.

So... I KNOW this may be very hard for some of you... and I KNOW that some have already made airline reservations, etc. BUT trust me, there was absolutely nothing I could do. I hope that all of you can still join us.

Sue is going to transfer all of our reservations over to the new date, but that might take a few days. Just as soon as that is done I will send you a confirmation notice. If this change makes it impossible for you to go with us, please drop me an email and VTG can issue you a refund on your credit card. I wanted to let you all know first before we send out the changes on the web forum, facebook, & Jimmy's blog.

Again, I apologize for the inconvenience and hope that this does not deter you from joining us on the cruise.

Becky, I would like to cancel my cruise reservations. I paid for half of it on sunday 5/31 with my credit card. Plz e-mail me asap about this process.
