FOOD CHOICES

Post by Regandy on Fri Jan 11, 2008 7:00 am

1. Dinner in the main dining room is "assigned". Our group will be seated together.

2. Breakfast & Lunch is open for your own choice:
-- Lido deck grill (great place for simple grilled meat and veggies) also the place for sodas, juice, coffee, tea, ice, etc.
-- Buffet lines in forward restaurant (afternoons feature special meals from different countries)
-- Main Dining room for a "sit-down" meal
-- 24 hour room service.

3. If you have never been on a cruise before, please realize that the food is covered in the price of your ticket. Feel free to order whatever you want ... but don't make yourself sick! hahahaha

4. Ask for exactly what you want. They are there to make your trip "wonderful"! You can have it YOUR way.

5. The "Grand Buffet" ... honestly it is beautiful. A monument to gluttony .. did I just say that? BUT it was too much. We were still full from dinner and fell asleep. Some of the other people in our group who were able to stay up for the midnight buffet took lots of pictures. I'm sure it was beautiful, but honestly I didn't miss yet ANOTHER eating occasion! hahahahaha

OMG I had heard that food abounds but it sounds like there aren't going to be enough hours in the day to try new and spread it out. Will they make our protien shakes??? If we bring the powder in pre-measured half baggies, maybe LOL only kidding. I have been so busy getting rid of my fat clothes and trying all my stuff that was toooo small-----exciting some things are too big. I feel like I went to the mall to shop only it didn't cost me a penny. My closets haven't been this organized in years. First didn't have the energy to ever finish what I started. What took me a couple of hours used to take days. It sounds like a paradise of food choices. I really love seafood as my mom won't even try it. I'm trying to picture us on the deck with nothing to do but, have fun (and choose whatever strikes our fancy) and hang with our new friends. see you soon, dottie 39 Very Happy
